Brock Lesnar overcame the biggest challenge of his career with 116 CFU when he choked Shane Carwin! Join 411 of Samer Kadi as it examines the performance Lesnar, evolution and future of the fight against Cain Velasquez

That said, defense suppression Lesnar left much to be desired, and it was a bit of a problem for his whole (short) career. Lesnar instinctive reaction whenever the strike is launched is to retreat and take a step back instead to turn on, which is the kind of footwork fundamental flaw that gets in trouble like Andrei Arlvoski. In addition, Lesnar does not seem to compensate with head movements, which makes him a easy target to hit. Frank Mir put him in a similar situation in their rematch, which he just stalked until Brock Lesnar had nowhere to go after him and Mir tagged with a left elbow followed ‘jump knee which, ironically, spelled the beginning of the end of his rival. It is somewhat disturbing to see no sign of significant improvement in the game striking out Brock, if not particularly surprising, that the removal does not seem to come naturally to Lesnar.

We can only hope to see him sooner than later, as it is easy for the ultimate fight in the UFC heavyweight division.

is the second time in six months, you’ve been riding fucking nuts Cains hope Lesnar kills Cain, you can close your mouth!. Brock had the fight of his life July 3rd and you think this Velasquez piece of shit, it is fair queuing for the next kick ass / choke / MDK. I am a fan and I think Lesnar is going to get better, but Cain should not even be a stroke of struggle must be Cain vs. JDS and JDS face it interferes Cain AKA and all, they believe it is the best in the HW division. Carwin team said. Mir guard said. Randy thought and Herring shows again when someone will ask him what he feels. My opionion can not say shit but I think you do not know shit about the HW division for me, think you should be replaced by someone one that does not work there head up there own ass.

Great article as always. I thought he showed great heart by Lesnar, but I hope that his strategy was not really the “Storm” as a fighter against calmer than he would have lost the battle.
It shows the status of arbitration when people make their lower standards for intelligent defense because there are so confusing at first stops.
There are some factors that should also be considered for the next match Lesnar. Cain does not have a receding chin, but in his defense to fight Kongo strike solid slot disassembly, which is much better than going back, but probably unhappy the fight against Brock. I think that their struggle will not vanish. era of struggle Cain (Konrad / Mocco / Lawal even a little) was more competitive than Lesnar, and he was still able to place top 5. I would have preferred Cain before the field, but Brock has shown great vision and speed in decision in its transition to the triangle, which is frighteningly small.
I think Lesnar needs to work on his defense and the removal of meters, since Cain can set a pace too angry with his speed + Cardio + removal. If Lesnar can Velasquez rock with a meter, choke the dismantling and moving, I think it could possibly save Cain. Otherwise, I also favor Cain in the second leg.

@Mom2ATeam I’m told hip joint pain would radiate down leg, so it may be muscle pain instead. Anyway, sorry it hurts!
